After a short hiatus for remodeling, North Side dance club LIVE Ultra Lounge reopened Friday night in grand fashion, and seemingly all of San Antonio's party people packed the joint.

Just days before its planned New Year's Eve bash, the multilevel dance club showed off its new digs, which includes a revamped bar area with a large video screen backdrop.

The club's reopening events spans all weekend, with last night reviving its Hip Hop Fridays. Saturday night the club renews its Guestlist Saturdays and on Sunday the reopening culminates with a New Year's party.
