After reading Sunday’s column by Peggy Badgett, I felt I must write. I agree about the trash found on Highway 26. The Orangeville masons pile up trash on 26 and have been doing it for about 20 years.
The amount has decreased over the years, but there is no reason for any. Our country needs to instill in our cities a pride so that there isn’t any trash. Everyone who visits Switzerland says they don't’ see any trash in the streets and roads. This is something that we need to instill into our people.
Everyone who throws trash your your car window has to be picked up by someone else. How beautiful our roads and countryside would be if this happened. This occurs in the city also. A little effort by everyone is all it takes.
