A fireworks display will be launched from Skyline Drive beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday to help usher in the New Year. The show is provided by funds donated for the July 4 display that was cancelled because of a shortage of pyrotechnicians.

Hank Holloway, the chairman of the Fremont County Fireworks Committee, said the committee is accepting donations to help pay the remaining balance of the show, and to get a jump start on the July 4, 2018 display. To donate, call Holloway at 719-431-2884. Those giving $100 or more will have their photo published in the Daily Record.
