Liverpool news: Naby Keita's arrival will see midfielder leave Anfield - Steve Nicol
LIVERPOOL midfielder Emre Can will leave the club at the end of the season because the arrival of Naby Keita will lessen his game time.

That is the opinion of ESPN FC pundit and legendary Liverpool defender Steve Nicol.
Can is out of contract at Anfield at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to Juventus.
The German international has been a regular under Jurgen Klopp this season but has rejected all contract extensions Liverpool have offered him.
RB Leipzig midfielder Keita plays in a similar position to Can and is arriving next summer for a fee of over £50million.
With Keita coming in as well, he’s probably thinking ‘am I going to play?’
Nicol reckons a move to Serie A giants Juventus is on the cards for Can but not in the upcoming transfer window.
“Well it’s not going to happen in January,” the Scot said.
“But I don’t see how this doesn’t happen.
“He’s out of contract, all the noises are that he’s on his way.

“So I think this is an absolute, bang-on, stonewaller. This is a hit.”
Can has made 104 Premier League appearances for Liverpool since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014, scoring eight goals.
