Name-your-price adoptions being offered at SPCA Florida

LAKELAND — SPCA Florida is offering a “name your price adoption event” for medium and large kennel dogs and cats 6 months or older.

“Since Hurricane Irma, we have had an influx of animals to our shelter. As a way to close out the year, we are offering a name your price/donation option instead of the regular adoption fee,” Adoption Center Manager Michelle Williams said in a release.

SPCA Florida’s Adoption Center is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. It is closed Monday.

Residents can view photos/information about adoptable animals by visiting spcaflorida.org.
