Kavitha Bharanidaran, a Chennai resident wanted to establish a Guinness World Record of doing yoga continuously for 5 days. She has already surpassed the previous record of 103 hours and is now on the verge of creating a Guinness World Record for performing yoga continously for more than 105 hours.

She started doing Yoga continuously from 7 am on December 23, 2017, and is planning to stop only on December 30, 2017. She has been doing yoga continuously for more than 103 hours and has already broken the previous record.
Kavitha Bharanidaran takes a break of about 5 minutes every hour and can easily manage a number of difficult yoga poses. According to Times of India, Kavitha Bharanidaran wanted to break the record previously held by Pradnya Patil who had set a Guinness World Record of 103 hours of doing Yoga marathon. She achieved this feat on June 20, 2017.
