MENDON — The Bushnell-Prairie City High School boys basketball team advanced to the championship game of the Mississippi Valley Invitaitonal Tournament after defeating Unity 55-48 on Thursday.

The Spartans led 26-23 after the first half and pulled away with an 11-5 third quarter.

Jason Housenga led B-PC with 17 points and Devin Yocum added 10.

The Spartans will face Payson Seymour at 7:30 p.m.

At Princeville, the Wildcats led 20-2 after the first quarter and went on to finish third in the consolation bracket at the Princeville Holiday Tournament.

North Fulton led 36-11 at the end of the first half.

Jacob Schleich led the Wildcats with 12 points and Courtney Patterson added 10.
