Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra took stock of the preparations regarding Ekatm Yatra’s tour in Datia on ensuing January 5 and 6.
He gave directives that the Ekatm Yatra being undertaken in Madhya Pradesh to create awareness among public towards Adishankaracharya’s accomlishments for restoration of dharma and culture, must be accorded grand welcome at Datia.
Yatra will enter Datia from Sikandara and it will go till Sewdha. He also gave instructions for necessary preparations regarding Yatra’s departure from Sewdha to the next destination.
Dr. Mishra mentioned that Datia is also a cultural city besides religious and spiritual city. This yatra is carrying the objective of cultural awareness. Yatra must be accorded grand welcome at Datia and all necessary preparations should be made in this connection.
He further mentioned that a wide publicity should be carried out during the yatra regarding 4 dhams established in Datia. These dhams include Pitambara Peeth, Surya Mandir in Unav Balaji, Ratangarh Mata Mandir near Sewdha and Sankuan Dham in Datia .
Dr. Mishra further said that Datia has a wide scope for tourism and it should also be publicized. He mentioned that MP govt is strengthening heritage and culture by organizing programmes like Narmada Parikrama and Nadi Bachao Abhiyan.
Ekatm Yatra’s Programme
Ekatm Yatra will reach Palothar Tiraha by entering from Sikandra Tiraha and passing through Garera Undrava on January 5. After this, grand welcome will be accorded to the yatra in Datia city and Samvad programme besides paduka-poojan will be organized at Baggikhana-Datia in the afternoon.
The yatra will reach Bhander in the evening and Samvad programme will be held. After the rest at Bhander, the Yatra will proceed for Indergarh from Bhander on January 6 and samavad programme besides paduka-poojan will be held in the afternoon.
From Indergarh, Yatra will reach Sewdha, where samvad programme will be organized and yatra will take night halt. Yatra path will be decorated attractively. Grand welcome will be accorded in villages by putting toran gates.
President Jila Panchayat Smt. Rajni Prajapati, District Yatra In-Charge and Sewdha MLA Pradeep Agrawal, Presidnet Nagar Palika Subhash Agrawal, Assistant In-Charge of Yatra Pramod Pujari, District Collector and Nodal Officer of Ekatm Yatra were present in the review meeting.
