Dubai: The Omega Dubai Creek (ODC) Match Play series produced some scintillating performances at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.

In the Men’s category, after some very tight matches it came down to a battle between 2017 vice-club captain Dave Gowans and plus figure golfer Bayhaan Lakdawala.

Although David beat Bayhaan in the Scratch Match Play earlier in the season, Bayhaan took his revenge to clinch the Omega Dubai Creek Men’s Singles Match Play title.

The Men’s Doubles category is one that always produces excitement with members creating what they hope for winning partnerships in the search for glory.

After a number of exciting matches going down to the wire, it was the teams of Suneel Aggarwal and Imran Qayyum, a solid pairing, against the team of Stephen Barker and Mark Dennehy in the final.

It was an extremely tight match with Imran and Suneel having to win the last hole to secure the victory and the doubles title they were in search of.
