SDO Hazaribagh Aditya Ranjan, who has been appointed nodal officer of Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation for upcoming cleanliness survey 2018 said on Thursday that a team is coming to Hazaribagh town and the entire corporation family is ready to face the challenge of Swachhta Survey.
Talking about the heads on which the guests will evaluate the town he said that the municipal corporation needs help of every conscious citizen. If anyone finds garbage anywhere he can upload the picture on our cleanliness app and it will be cleaned within 24 hours.
He also informed that State government has specially appointed five marshals to keep eye on the survey process and to help the district administration. For every area supervisors have been deputed and I had directed to complete the under construction community toilets within a week. The corporation is working hard to keep the town clean and special cleaning drive is going on in night also. During last two days we have made some surprise visits of the areas and some persons have been fined.
On being asked about the payment of employees of the corporation the SDO said that in the town more than 300 shops had been rented by the corporation but shopkeepers are not depositing rent at time. “I have ordered to deposit the rent within four days otherwise we will seize the items kept in their shops,” he said.
