Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif‘s Tiger Zinda Hai has broken several records, but it failed to beat one major record on day 7. The film failed to conquer Prabhas’ Baahubali 2 and Salman’s Sultan at the box office in the first week. However, it has still emerged as a winner as it claimed the third highest all time opening week collection. If you look at the all time first week collections of each film till date, you will realise what we are talking about.
Currently, Prabhas‘ Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is the highest opening week grosser, with a collection of Rs 247 crore. Sultan (Rs 229.16 crore) and Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 206.04 crore) complete the all time top three highest opening week grossers list. They are followed by Dangal (Rs 197.54 crore), Dhoom 3 (Rs 188.99 crore), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 184.62 crore), PK (Rs 183.09 crore), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 172.82 crore), Krrish 3 (Rs 166.52 crore) and Kick (Rs 164.09 crore). With that, Salman now has five films in the all time top 10 highest opening week grossers list. It is also the second highest all time Bollywood opening week grosser after Sultan too.
