The actress, in conversation with a leading daily revealed her birthday plans: "Since I’m turning 39, I’ve been telling my friends that I want to do something crazy, as this is my last birthday before the landmark 40. And I’m quite a bore when it comes to these things, so I’m waiting for them to organise something crazy. Let’s see who comes up with a fun idea — my friends or my husband Siddharth (Roy Kapur)".
 
Vidya carved a niche for herself in the crowded industry. With her latest outing "Tumhari Sulu", the actress who is married for five years, smashed an age old belief that the married actresses cant carry a film on their shoulder.



When asked if babies are on her agenda, the actress said, "Oh, I have no time for a baby. Each film I do is a new baby, I have 20-odd babies", said Balan laughingly.

 The actress also said that right now she is focusing on her work and is willing to do good films.
