67's blanked by Frontenacs

The shots were there, the goals weren’t.

The Ottawa 67’s were blanked 2-0 on the road Thursday night, despite peppering the Kingston Frontenacs net with 36 shots. Jeremy Helvig picked up the shutout, while Ottawa’s Olivier Tremblay stopped 23 of 24 shots in the loss.

Kingston’s Nathan Dunkley scored midway through the first period and it stood as the game winner. Linus Nyman added an empty netter.

The 67’s host the Oshawa Generals Friday night at TD Place as part of a 50th anniversary celebration.
