Conte has repeatedly stated this month that Chelsea are out of the Premier League title race after a shaky first half of the campaign.
The Premier League champions currently sit 14 points behind unbeaten leaders Manchester City, who also have a game in hand.
Chelsea dropped points this month in the surprise defeat to West Ham and goalless draw at Everton.
But yesterday’s 2-0 home win against Brighton, which saw Chelsea close the gap on second-placed Manchester United to just one point, appears to have reignited Conte’s optimism.
But the Italian admits his side’s title hopes rest on whether City slip up.
Conte told the club’s official website: “I think in this league there is great motivation for all to try to stay there and fight until the end.

“To win every game and draw one means you are having a fantastic run.
“There is great motivation to find a place in the Champions League next year, there are four places for six top teams.
“Our start wasn’t easy for many reasons but we want to work and improve.
“There are many competitions and we must be very proud to play every game.”
