Best Non-Surgical Facelift
The LA Lift using PDO sutures
Thread lifts are one of the fastest growing treatments in the cosmetic industry.
They are a good option if you are looking for a lift but don’t want surgery as the procedure is performed under local anaesthetic.
Tiny incisions are made near the hairline and along the jawline and soft sutures are inserted to lift the skin.
The treatment can smooth and tighten sagging brows, cheeks, jowls and neck.
Results are subtle and last up to three years.
PDO threads help stimulate collagen production so will also boost skin quality over time.
From £2,500. Available from most cosmetic clinics.
Best Supermarket Skincare
Aldi
The supermarkets stepped up their beauty game this year, launching some seriously impressive anti-ageing skincare.
Our favourite is Aldi’s Lacura Cuvee Royal collection, which includes Lacura Cuvee Royal Serum Concentrate, £7.99 and Lacura Royal Neck and Decollete Mousse, £7.99 (both available at Aldi stores nationwide).
They contain champagne extract and QT40, which strengthens the skin’s structure.
The collection was designed to combat tired skin by boosting hydration and decreasing the appearance of wrinkles.

B-LITE
Most Innovative Surgical
B-Lite breast implants
This year saw the launch of the world’s lightest breast implants.
They are made from a gel that contains microspheres, making them a third lighter than traditional silicone implants.
Larger traditional implants are often heavy which can put a strain on the back causing sagging, poor posture and pain.
Breast augmentation with B-Lite implants costs from £6,000 but results last significantly longer than the standard eight to 10 years.
