The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath showed his affection for bovines by feeding jaggery to the cows in the cow shed of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on early Wednesday morning.
The UP CM and his deputy Dinesh Sharma made an overnight stay at the residence of Uttarakhand CM after returning from swearing in ceremony of new Gujarat Government on Tuesday. The two along with Uttarakhand CM left for Chandigarh on Wednesday morning from where they boarded a chopper for Shimla to attend the swearing in ceremony of CM designate of Himachal Pradesh Jairam Thakur.
An early riser, the UP CM strolled in the sprawling lawn of CM residence of Uttarakhand. He offered prayers at the temple located in the premise and then headed to the shed where Trivendra has kept his cows. Adityanath enjoyed the natural splendor and clean environs of the CM residence of Uttarakhand during his morning walk.
On his arrival on late Tuesday night, the UP CM and deputy CM were welcomed by Protocol minister Dhan Singh Rawat at Dehradun Airport. The Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat welcomed the duo at his residence by offering a shawl and sacred water of river Ganga.
It is pertinent to mention here that the CM of UP Yogi Adityath is a native of Uttarakhand. He was born in a remote village Panchur of Pauri district. After assuming charge of the most populous State of the country he has shown positive attitude towards Uttarakhand. It is learnt that when Yogi and Trivendra met in Ahmedabad, the later offered to play host to Yogi which he accepted. The personal equation between the two Chief Ministers is considered good and the observers feel that long pending issue of distribution of assets between the two states can be resolved.
