Lindsay Lohan bitten by snake as she holidays in Thailand

LINDSAY Lohan has suffered a snake bite while on a Christmas getaway.

The star took to her Instagram account to fill fans in on the scary experience.

Lindsay, 31, revealed the incident happened while on a trip in Thailand.

While dressed in a bikini, see-through shawl and sunnies, Lindsay filled in her 6.3 million followers.

She told them: "I love this it's so beautiful, an amazing place, aside from my snake bite. I got bit by a snake on a hike the other day.

    However, instead of moaning, Lindsay revealed that her Shaman told her it was "good luck and positive energy" to be bitten by one.

    Apart from the scary experience, Lindsay seemed to be having a fun festive season.

    She even threw it back to one of her iconic Mean Girls scenes – thrilling fans.

    If you haven't guessed, it is the clip that say herself, Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert) and Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried) dressed as sexy Santas for the end of year talent show.

    It went down a treat with her followers – racking up more than 8 million views.
