Two men were hospitalized Thursday after a possible drunken driving accident in northern Bexar County.

A pickup truck T-boned a white sedan around 2:50 a.m. on Bulverde Road near Wilderness Oak. A passenger in the sedan was trapped in the vehicle and had to be cut loose by responding authorities.

Once free, the passenger, as well as the driver of the sedan, were rushed to University Hospital with serious leg injuries.

Deputies assessed the pickup truck driver for any signs of intoxication and detained a male passenger who had been with him at the time of the crash.
