ECI quiz contest for students in Class 9th -12th

Chandigarh, 28^th  December 2017:  As per the directions issued by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, the Election Department, U.T Chandigarh conducted ECI quiz contest for students in Class 9^th – 12th. The department along with Education Department, U.T., Chandigarh conducted the ECI quiz contest at the school level. An Intra School Quiz-2017-18 was conducted in view of the same wherein 40 Govt. Model Sr. Sec./Sr. Sec. Schools, U.T., Chandigarh covering 500 students (approx) of class 9^th to 12^th participated.

                    A total of 34 teams (consisting 68 students) out of 40 teams of the various schools of Chandigarh Administration participated in the 2^nd round i.e. inter-school competition on 27^th December 2017.  The Top five teams were selected from these 34 teams for the final round i.e. State Level ECI quiz contest. The top five winning teams were:-

                              The State Level final ECI quiz contest was held today at SCERT, Sector-32, Chandigarh, wherein the five top winning teams went under seven round competitions of which two were visual rounds.

          The quiz competition was held under the supervisions of the Joint Chief Electoral Officer and SDM (E)-cum-AERO-02, U.T., Chandigarh. A tough competition was held between all the team in the presence of officers. The marks obtained by the above said five teams in the final round are given below:-
