
Thistle Draftshop in Spring joins local craft-beer scene

Mary Thorn has opened Thistle Draftshop, a craft beer bar and retail shop for take-home beer at 5210 FM 2920 near Gosling in Spring. Thorn, a former Saint Arnold Brewing Co. employee, will offer 60 beers on tap along with a restaurant. Chef Ernesto Villarreal, who previously worked downtown at The Grove, will prepare burgers and other fare. Plans call for adding patio space in the front in the spring, Thorn said. Regular daily hours are 11 a.m. to midnight. Alicia Heusdain of Century 21 Hardee-Team Realty represented Thistle Draftshop in the 5,000-square-foot lease. Terramont Realty represented the landlord.
Woodway Square Center on Woodway at Winrock has gained new tenants: Baskin Robbins (Mymuujiza Corp.), represented by Jonathan Hicks and Jeff Warwick of STSRE Real Estate Partners, has leased 1,174 square feet. Domino's Pizza, represented by Robert Hantgan of Colliers International, has leased 1,354 square feet. CC Nails, represented by owner Nancy Nguyen, has leased 1,820 square feet. Greg DeGeorge of DeGeorge Real Estate Services represented the landlord, DeGeorge Properties II, in the deals.
The Loken Group has leased 16,089 square feet at Steeplechase Plaza, 11037 FM 1960 West. Lance P. Loken of The Loken Group represented his firm. Elena Bakina of Colliers International represented the landlord, 1948 Real Estate Holdings.
Main Squeeze Juice Co. and Blockhouse Coffee & Kitchen have each signed up for 1,400 square feet of retail space in NewQuest Properties' Stableside at Falcon Landing, a Kroger-anchored center at Gaston Road and Falcon Landing Boulevard in Katy. Austin Alvis and Brad Elmore of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord in both deals. Chace Henke and Ryan Holliday of Transwestern Houston represented Main Squeeze. Terry Nehls of Fincher Cos. represented Blockhouse Coffee & Kitchen.
Mi Cellular has leased 1,200 square feet at Cullen Commons, 12805 Cullen Blvd. Lauren Shepperd of Retail Solutions represented the landlord.
7Spice Seafood has leased 1,500 square feet at 11011 Shadow Creek Parkway in Pearland, and 1,495 square feet at 1701 FM 1960 West in north Houston. Jason Gaines and Shaffer Braun of NAI Partners represented the tenant.
