Special Olympics hosts Jan. 9 town hall

Calling all athletes, coaches, volunteers and families to come out and join us at a town hall meeting to highlight Special Olympics Florida’s involvement in the community.

The event will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9 at Historic Holy Family Center, 203 Dr Fredrick Humphries St, Apalachicola.

Special Olympics Florida and its volunteers from Franklin County invite the surrounding community to learn about how one can get involved with Special Olympics. The town hall meeting is intended to familiarize local residents of the numerous ways Special Olympics Florida impacts the surrounding community.

Come out and learn more about our local program and help us plan for the future of Special Olympics Florida in Franklin County.
