As more NFL coaching jobs are opening up, Jim Harbaugh's name continues to be thrown around as a possible option. Despite the rumors, the current Michigan Wolverines coach isn't interested in even entertaining the idea of leaving his alma mater to return to the pros, and he's over talking about it.
In his third year at Michigan, Harbaugh made that clear again Thursday at a press conference for the Wolverines' Outback Bowl game against South Carolina on New Year's Day.
"Let's just move onto the next question," Harbaugh said. "That's like warmed-up oatmeal. Or better to compare to something else when it's rehashed or warmed back up, it's not good anymore. Oatmeal is the first thing that comes to mind. Not a big fan of warmed-up oatmeal."
Last season, Harbaugh dismissed similar rumors, saying they were made up by rival coaches, who he called "enemies" and "jive turkeys."
Michigan will take on South Carolina in the Outback Bowl in Tampa on Monday (Noon ET, ESPN2).
