The Coronation Street cast babe recently announced she will be leaving the ITV soap next year, having played feisty Eva Price since 2011.

Although fans are still gutted over the actress' departure, Catherine Tyldesley's Instagram updates will no doubt help soften the blow.

Posting to her profile's story earlier today, the 34-year-old shared a throwback picture of herself rocking a skimpy bikini.

Looking as though she was auditioning for the next Bond film, the blonde walked out of the sea in the plunging design.

      The soap starlet — who once weighed 15 stone before dropping seven dress sizes — allows herself to enjoy the festive season with sweet treats.

      Getting candid about her food intake, the Corrie bombshell said: "I love Christmas pudding. I don't normally eat deserts so it's the one time of year that I treat myself."

      Revealing what her ideal year-round treat would be, the actress dished: "I'd have pizza because I'd still want to treat myself and I love pizza.

      "My favourite topping would be meat feast, the whole hog. If I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it well."
