Woman found dead, suspect in custody after domestic violence incident in Oak Creek

OAK CREEK - A woman is dead and a suspect is in custody after what police are calling a domestic violence incident in Oak Creek.

Police responded to a residence in the 3300 block of East Woodview Avenue after receiving a 911 call at 10:01 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, according to a news release from the Oak Creek Police Department.  

Officers found a female dead and a male, the caller, with injuries. He was treated at a local hospital and released, according to the release.  

Police took one person into custody in connection with the incident. They said they are confident there's no danger to the public at this time.
