Dr Sudhir Singh and Sulekha hosted a grand party to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary. Largely attended by close friends and relatives, the do turned out to be a fun-filled affair. Sulekha appeared like a coy bride as she arrived under a traditional chunari held by her close friends
Deepa Gupta and Neelu Mishra. She was welcomed with a loud applause. The couple then exchanged garlands.
Making the most of the occasion, a question and answer antakshari was played in which Pihu Lahiri, Roli Singh, Sangeeta Srivastava and Anamika Banerjee participated. Some of the guests also rendered songs, adding to the happy occasion. Smita Baranwal sang Tere Pyar Mein Aye Sulekha while Dr
Dharmendra Pandey crooned Yeh Shaam Mastani.
The surprise element of the evening was a huge cake which was arranged by
Shivam Singh for his parents. Later, a video message was shown by parents of Sulekha who could not make it to the bash due to ill health.
