India must wipe Pakistan from world map to avenge insult to Kulbhushan Jadhav's family, says VHP chief Togadia

"Every dialogue with Pakistan must stop and army must prepare for war," said Vishva Hindu Parishad chief Pravin Togadia, a day after the MEA said Kulbhushan Jadhav's mother and wife were badly treated in Islamabad.

India should give Pakistan a "befitting reply" for insulting Kulbhushan Jadhav's mother, and "wipe Pakistan off the world map" if need be, Vishva Hindu Parishad chief Pravin Togadia said Wednesday.

Kulbhushan Jadhav's mother Avanti and wife Chetankul visited him in Islamabad on Monday. India's foreign ministry Avanti Jadhav wasn't allowed to speak to her son in Marathi, and that both women were asked to remove their "mangal sutra, bangles and bindi" before meeting the former Navy officer.

Avanti and Chetanjul Jadhav were harassed by the Pakistani media, the ministry said. Kulbhushan's mother was even called "qatil ki maa" by journalists, sources told India Today.

At a meeting in Bhubaneshwar, Pravin Togadia said India should avenge the insult to Avanti and Chetanjul Jadhav.

"This is not just an insult of Kulbhushan's mother alone, it is an insult for India's 50 crore women. His mother is our mother too and we should give them a befitting reply," he said.

"If it requires us to wipe Pakistan off the world map, so be it! We should prepare for war and avenge this insult," the VHP president added.

Togadia also questioned people seeking to continue a dialogue process with Pakistan: "They kill our jawans repeatedly and some people still want to invite them to sing in Mumbai and seek free treatment for their patients? Should we enjoy the music of those who kill our jawans? Every dialogue with Pakistan must stop and army must prepare for war."
