JO requests Speaker to convene Parliament 
The Joint Opposition is requesting the Speaker, Karu Jayasuriya to convene the Parliament before the scheduled date.
The Parliamentary Group Leader of the Joint Opposition, MP Dinesh Gunawardena said the Parliament should be convened to discuss the financial crisis encountered by the country.
MP Gunawardana made this request during a media conference in Colombo this morning (27).
