Thomas Christiansen hailed Kemar Roofe as "dangerous"

Roofe bagged his 10th goal of the season as Leeds came from behind at the Pirelli Stadium to make it four wins on the spin.

The 24-year-old has been enjoying a run of games in attack and Christiansen was pleased with his latest performance.

“We all know what Roofe can do,” he said. “[He is] a good striker with good movement, intelligent and today he also showed how dangerous he is.”

Tom Naylor fired Burton ahead against the run of play in the first half but Pablo Hernandez’s 61st minute free-kick levelled the scores before Roofe struck moments later.

“I’m very pleased for these three points,” Christiansen said. “They were difficult.

“I believed we made a very good first half controlling he game, having opportunities.

“In one situation we get the 1-0 and then we have to react in the second half.

“Trying to believe in what we have done in the first and for sure the goals will come in but we had to suffer too much.”

Hernandez’s spectacular free-kick highlighted the work set-piece coach Gianni Vio has been doing on the training pitch.

When asked how much credit Vio deserves, Christiansen replied: “A lot, of course.

“He’s the only who gives the instructions. The players train that but after you have to be on the pitch to put them in very good execution but it’s the work of everyone there.”
