AJMAN: The Chairman of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Abdullah Al Muwaiji, hailed the efforts of the Government of Ajman to implement several large development projects to ensure the growth and sustainability of all economic, tourism, educational, health and infrastructure sectors.

He stressed that the approval of the 2018 bugdet of Ajman Government by His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, will foster the completion of the overall development being witnessed in the emirate. This will directly contribute to raising the economic indicators in Ajman and make it attractive environment with diverse elements that serve the business community.

He continued, the approval of the general budget with expenses of Dhs1.367 billion which increased by 16 per cent comparing to 2017, reflects the government’s keenness to develop the infrastructure of the emirate, to boost the growth of the private sector and provide a conducive environment for the investors within and outside the country.

The economic sector in the emirate will get a special priority during 2018 by the Government of Ajman, which topped the other sectors in terms of the expenses with 32 per cent.
