Neymar has scored 17 goals since moving to the French capital as PSG sit nine points clear of Monaco at the top of the table.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid over the past few months after continuing his incredible form at the Parc de Princes.

And he will face Los Blancos in the last 16 of the Champions League after the turn of the year.

But after he watched Barcelona tear Zinedine Zidane’s side apart in the Clasico last week, he reached out to his former team-mates.

According to Italian publication CalcioMercato, Neymar supported Barca during their 3-0 victory.

And he then sent congratulatory messages to Lionel Messi and co. as they climbed nine points clear of second-placed Valencia and 14 above Real, in fourth.

The report goes on to say that Neymar is surprised with how well Ernesto Valverde’s side are doing this year, especially given the Real dominance last season.

And he now apparently wants to meet Barca in the Champions League quarter-finals.

But first the Catalan club must get past Chelsea over two legs.
