Family of Kulbhushan Jadhav today met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi. Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar and MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar were also present during the meeting. The meeting comes a day after Jadhav’s wife and mother met him in Pakistan.
Kulbhushan Jadhav is in Pakistan custody over espionage charges. He is facing death sentence which was stayed by the International Court of Justice in May.
India has been maintaining that Jadhav, a retired Navy officer, was kidnapped from Iran where he had some business interest.
