Junior National Equestrian Championship: Players win 5 medals in central India championship

BHOPAL : On the third-day of ongoing at Equestrian Academy, the players of Academy won one gold medal, two silver and two bronze medals in central India championship. The central India championship is part of Junior National Equestrian Championship.

State’s medal tally in the national championship has reached 27 with nine gold medals, 11 silver and six bronze medals.  In the national championship, Raju Singh Bhadauriya continued with his excellent performance on the third consecutive day and won a silver medal in jumping of Children group -2 individual event. On second day, he had won two gold medals, one in dressage individual event and other in dressage team event.

In Central India Championship too, Bhadauriya won one silver medal in junior hoax.  Sudipto Hazela won gold medal in Children group -2. Other silver medal came from a wonderful team performance by Faraz Khan, Sagar Tiwari, Anand Jhala and Pranay Khare.


Minister for sports and youth welfare Yashodra Raje Scindia awarded medals to the winners in the different events on the third day. She watched players’ performance and appreciated them.
