Hello Ladies,
I am bit confused. I am 18 days late and home pregnancy tests are negative. Later I had a blood test done and even it came negative. My question is do you girls face such delay in periods? I mean uptill 1 week is fine but 18 days is too much pressure to handle.
What can be the reasons for such a delay?Many thanks :)

Though it’s not completely fine, it’s still fine! Coz periods can get delayed to a lot of factors – stress, hormones., etc. Just wait for one week and see a gynaec, it might be pcod, not sure.

Delayed periods are normal, don’t worry. You can go to your doc and get a check up done to find out the reason.

Hey, I had similar issue the first month after our wedding. If you are recently married, then this is completely fine. It is due to your hormones, stress level and new lifestyle changes. I have done 3 pregnancy tests and it all went negative. i got my Periods finally on 19 th day or something.
If you see a doctor, she may prescribe medicines for inducing Periods. Hope that helps.
