Bhopal: Social workers feted at blood donation camp
BHOPAL : State Bhartiya Janta Party president Nandkumar Chauhan felicitated people for social work at blood donation camp organised at Gufa Mandir Gate on Monday.
The blood donation camp was organised by Navkiran and Savdhani Coaching to celebrate 93rd birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The people who were felicitated include Jaheed Meer for environment conservation, Ayaz Khan Lawaris for working for poor patients’ welfare, Shikha Shah for helping poor students and Bhajanlal Ramani for cremation of unclaimed bodies. About 31 people donated blood in the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Nand Kumar Chauhan said that service of human is in itself a big prize and people working for humanity are full of spiritual energy. “They must carry on the efforts to serve humanity,” he added.
Mayor Alok Sharma congratulated organisers for their efforts. Lokendra Parashar, state BJP media in-charge, presented certificates to blood donors.
