Bhopal: Woman ends life by hanging from pole
BHOPAL : A girl in her early twenties was found hanging on a pole in railway ground on Monday morning. The body was seen by locals and few policemen at around 7 am.
Though her identity could not be established, locals who have seen her in the past claimed that she was mentally unstable and would roam in the area.
Her body was 10 feet above the ground which triggered suspicion of murder but police are waiting for postmortem report.
According to GRP town inspector (TI) Hemant Shrivastav, the woman was seen by a local shopkeeper whom she approached to get her mobile phone charged. The shopkeeper Sachin said that he could not charge her mobile phone but the woman looked depressed at that time.
He also said that the woman was also seen by other men. She was spotted sitting in the area for an hour. Thana in-charge Shrivastav said that a mobile phone has been found in the area in shattered state and it is being ensured whether it was her mobile phone.
