The family of a British embassy worker murdered in Beirut has launched a charity foundation to support her humanitarian causes.

Rebecca Dykes, 30, had been working in Lebanon as a programme and policy manager for the Department for International Development. Her body was found dumped by a motorway in the capital on December 16.

Having been overwhelmed by messages of support, her family and friends set up a JustGiving internet page with the aim of raising £100,000 to ensure her work in the field is continued by others.
