In the biggest individual occurrence from last week's schedule, Glens Falls junior guard Joseph Girard III surpassed Jimmer Fredette as the all-time leading scorer in school history.

Unfortunately for Girard and the Indians, a victory was not attached with the star becoming No. 1 at Glens Falls and No. 3 overall in Section II scoring history as Scotia recorded a 74-73 Foothills Council road win.

The setback dropped the Indians out of the No. 1 slot in Class B. The rest of the No. 1 teams remained as they were, as Shenendehowa (AA), Albany Academy (A), Lake George (C) and Argyle (D) maintained their spots on top. A week filled with tournament outings certainly could jumble things up for next week's rankings.
