NEW DELHI: Rainbow Hospital, South India's most reputed children's hospital, launches its state-of-the-art facility in the capital. The hospital is situated in the heart of Delhi at Malviya Nagar and consists of 150 beds with state-of-the-art facilities that are affordably priced.
Another highlight of the hospital will be their benchmark neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric intensive care unit, which has 30 and 15 beds respectively. Rainbow Hospital will be the first standalone pediatric hospital in the city designed, equipped and staffed exclusively to treat children and adolescents under one roof. In Delhi, Rainbow would be associated with the Madhukar Trust.
Madhukar Rainbow Children's Hospital will encompass all pediatric super specialties under one roof, including pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric surgery, pediatric neurology, pediatric neuro surgery, pediatric hemato-oncology, pediatric cardiology, amongst others. The hospital will also have a complete rehabilitation program which intends to take care of allied patient care services like pediatric physiotherapy, psychometric analysis and behavioral counselling amongst others.
The hospital also has some of the top pediatric specialists from the sector. Dr. Praveen Khilnani with more than 30 years of experience in pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, & pediatric pulmonology heads the department of Pediatric Pulmonology. Dr. Jayasree Sundar with over 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology and known for managing the high risk obstetric cases and gynecological surgeries leads the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Chanchal is a qualified fetal medicine specialist with about 10 years of experience in fetal medicine and has presented many papers both at National and International levels. Dr. Naveen Parkash Gupta, the former lead neonatologist at Max Super speciality hospital, Patparganj from 2011 - 2017, heads the department of Neonatology and Dr. Rakesh Handa, a doctor for 38 years and with more than 32 years of surgical experience, having served in the Indian Army Medical Corps from 1980 to Dec 2005, leads the department of Pediatric Surgery.
