Water supply will be affected on Tuesday in some areas of the national Capital due to annual programme for flushing of underground reservoir and booster pumping station and repairing work.
The areas where water supply will not be available or available at low pressure are sector D3/D4 Vasant Kunj, Moti Bagh, 328 LIG Houses Nasirpur, Bindapur, C2/B Block Janakpuri, D2A Nangalrai-I, New Rajinder Nagar, Nehru Camp JJC Haiderpur, A-3 Sector-B Rohini, A-3 Sector-8 Rohini, H-Block Sawan Park, Mansarover Park, Kanti Nagar, Old Seelampur, Shankar Nagar and adjoining areas, Surajmal Vihar, Vishwas Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Yozna Vihar, Shresth Vihar, Jwala Nagar.
Further, due to emergency repair work of leakage in one of the tapping from 1000 mm dia Peera garhi main emanating from Haiderpur WTP Phase-I, the supply will also affected on Wednesday in areas like A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H P-1,P-2,P-3,P-4 Block Raj Park, Harizan Basti, Friends Enclave, 80 Gaz Indira Jheel, Sector 5 to 6 East Friend Enclave of Sultanpuri area, Budh Vihar, Krishan Vihar, Pooth Village, New Multan Nagar, Hari Singh Park, Paschim Vihar, Madipur, Paschimpuri Pkt-2 and 3 East Punjabi Bagh.
Delhi Jal Board has advised residents to store water in sufficient quantity in advance to avoid inconvenience.
