PATNA: With almost two months left for the board exams, students have started working hard and are under tremendous pressure to perform well. The closer the exams get, the more worried they are.
Students, who will write the Class X and XII exams of different boards, are following a strict study schedule and making all sorts of strategies to master all the subjects and get good scores. The schedule for the examinations will be released by the first week of January.
Notre Dame student
Sara Singh (Class X) has prepared her timetable in such a way that she does not feel pressurised. "I dedicate equal time and importance to every subject and study nine hours, covering three subjects a day. I focus more on the chapters that carry more marks because it is not possible to remember each and every topic," Sara said.
Another Class X student of The Tribhuvan School, Niharika Ratan, said, "I am in favour of the
CBSE's decision to scrap the CGPA marking system for Class X students. It was unfair to students who performed well because everyone who scored above 90% got a 10 CGPA. I am working very hard and am sure I will score good marks."
Don Bosco's Aditya Raj (Class XII) always strives to perform better in every
exam. "I make of list of my marks in every examination so that I can improve myself. I rectify my errors and plan my studies accordingly," he said.
For
St Joseph's Convent student
Mansi, it is hard to keep a balance between Class XII boards and competitive exams. She is focusing more on the subjects she thinks she is not good at. According to her, "I have been following a strict study schedule for the last two months and have stopped logging into social media sites. However, sometimes I listen to songs as they keep me calm."
Class X student
Garima Singh believes that studying all the time cannot help her perform well. "I do not follow any timetable. The duration of my studies depends on my mood. Sometimes, I study for two hours, there are days when I study for five hours," said Garima.
