Mkhitaryan faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford.

The Armenian ace has been frozen out in recent weeks with his latest start for the club coming in early November.

Arsenal and Inter Milan are sniffing around the ex-Borussia Dortmund man ahead of a potential transfer swoop.

Mkhitaryan signed for the club 18 months ago for around £27m and interested clubs will be quoted £35m in January.

And it’s led to Manchester United eyeing up replacements should they be able to get a deal done.

Mail Online say United have asked about a potential deal for Chelsea star Willian as well as being offered Mesut Ozil.

Ozil is out of contract in the summer so could move north for nothing in a reunion with ex-Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.

Malcom, of French club Bordeaux is another target for the Old Trafford club.

Mkhitaryan has played in United’s last two games, coming off the bench in the defeat at Bristol City and draw at Leicester.

Mourinho was furious with his side after they could only draw 2-2 at the King Power last night.

"We didn't win because we missed incredible chances, I would say joke chances, and then in the last second of the game we make a big defensive mistake,” he said.

"It is an accumulation of mistakes in an easy match to win. The team was playing well and in the second half, the result should have been four, five, six. But the reality is that it is 2-2.

"Sometimes you make mistakes and you are not punished, but we were punished.”
