The turkey dinner is often the eagerly-awaited highlight of Christmas Day festivities but it seems we can indeed have too much of a good thing.
After all that pre-meal excitement, shopping, planning and cooking, it doesn’t take long before we then tire of turkey - and want to get our choppers into something meaty.
In recent years, an increasing number of people have been looking online to see if McDonald’s is open on Christmas Day. Yes, really.
So we have checked out festive opening times at two of its main fast food outlets in Newcastle . And while some hungry Horaces may be disappointed on the big day itself, they can rest assured that it won’t be long until they can next feast on a burger.
