The weather leading up to Christmas Day has been inconsistent, with bursts of sun and high temperatures flirting with the low 50s mixing with rain, snow and nighttime conditions in the teens.
But with the highly anticipated holiday comes stability in the form of very cold and mostly dry weather for the rest of the week.
According to the National Weather Service forecast, Christmas Day will be sunny with a high of 22 degrees and a low of 10 degrees. While no new snowfall is expected, officials warn residents to be on the lookout for blowing snow and slick roads.

Wednesday will bring much of the same with a high of 14 degrees and a low around 4 degrees.
Snow could also return to central Indiana on Thursday as the forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of snow during the day, and a 20 percent chance of snow that night.
Friday and Saturday evening also see a small chance of new snowfall and single-digit low temperatures.
