AHMEDABAD: The 22 Annual and sixth International Conference of
Gwalior Academy of Mathematical Sciences (GAMS) and Symposium on 'Mathematical Methods and Models in Bio-Sciences' concluded on Sunday.
The conference had been organized by
Mehsana Urban Institute of Sciences (MUIS), Ganpat Vidyanagar. It was organized to commemorate the mathematics prodigy
Shrinivas Ramanujan and his significant contribution to the field of mathematics upon his 130th birthday on the lush green campus of
Ganpat University located in north Gujarat.
The three-day international conference on the theme of 'Advances in Pure and Applied Mathematics' hosted by the MUIS brought together various research scholars, mathematicians and students on a common platform where they amplified and exchanged brilliant ideas and discussed a wealth of mathematical knowledge. About 150 research scholars from across the country, USA and Nepal gathered and disseminated fascinating details of their research by presenting more than 100 research papers.
