Japan gives audio-visual equipment to Nat’l Zoo

Japan has provided audio-visual equipment to Bangladesh National Zoo for educational exhibition under the scheme of Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects.
A representative from Japan on Sunday handed over the equipment worth US$ 60,291 to Bangladesh National Zoo Authority. Kazi Wasi Uddin, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, and Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh Hiroyasu Izumi were attended at the equipment handing over ceremony, according to a Japan embassy release.
Ambassador Izumi mentioned that during a meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, both the leaders underlined that the mutual understanding between the peoples of Japan and Bangladesh should be deepened in various fields, including education and culture.
Izumi also expressed his hope to further facilitate amicable friendship between the two peoples through such cooperation that can be directly reached out to Bangladeshi people.
