Riverdale season 2 spoilers: Netflix creator announces MAJOR changes
RIVERDALE creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has teased major changes for the second half of season two.
The CW creative announced that there would be a “return to basics” when the show returns.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Roberto said that the second half will be “revisiting its Archie comics roots”.
Roberto explained: “There's still going to be a pulpy noir element to the second half.
“The second half of the season two gets back to a little bit if Riverdale basics.”

He added: “This is focused on stories at the school, kind of getting back in deep on the relationships and the friendships.”
Fans of Riverdale are in for an even bigger treat after more was teased about what’s to come.

The news follows the dramatic midseason two finale where viewers finally got to see who was under the Black Hood.

Fans also saw who was behind the attempted murders terrifying the town exposed in an explosive conclusion.
Riverdale returned to screens earlier this year in October and has proved a huge hit.
