Warriors coach Steve Kerr has expressed his political emotions on his sleeve. Prior to the Warriors’ game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday at Oracle Arena, Kerr wore a “Pod Save America” T-Shirt.

“It’s a very comfortable shirt,” Kerr said, smiling. “Nice, soft cotton.”

Given their outspoken views on President Donald Trump for his divisive rhetoric, Kerr and Spurs coach Gregg Popovich each have memorabilia touting the presidential campaign ticket, “Popovich-Kerr 2020.”. Kerr said he has not received any gifts since, though the latest marked a early Christmas gift after appearing on the “Pod Save America” podcast recently.

“So they gave me the swag when I went on the podcast,” Kerr said. “I like these guys. They’re funny.”
