Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Dec 24 (ANI): Celebrations broke out at the residence of five-time legislator Jairam Thakur, after he was announced as the new chief minister of Himachal Pradesh.

People were dancing and exchanging sweets with a broad smile on their face to mark the occasion.
