BREAKING: Bomb squad approach ‘suspicious package’ sent to US finance chief Steve Mnuchin
STEVE Mnuchin received a “suspicious package” that is being investigated by an LAPD bomb squad, reports claim.

A massive police presence descended on a property in Bel–Air.
The package was also labeled as being from "the American people."
The secret service is also on the scene.

Local news services claim aerial footage showed officers investigating a large box wrapped in wrapping paper.
Multiple law enforcement officials reported that officers unwrapped the box to discover it was filled with manure.
No evacuations were reported, but Bel Air Road was closed due to the investigation.

Authorities said a call came in around 7:30pm regarding a suspicious package addressed to Mnuchin.
The present was left in a neighbour’s driveway in the 900 block of Bel Air Road, emergency services revealed.
The investigation is ongoing.
In November Mr Mnuchin was compared to a Bond villain after a photo of he and his wife holding some of the first dollar bills marked with his name on were printed.
He said: “I guess I should take that as a compliment that I look like a villain in a great, successful James Bond movie.”
The former hedge fund chief is married to Scottish actress Louise Linton.
