SERENA RETURNS this week
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — Serena Williams plans to return to competition with an exhibition match Saturday in Abu Dhabi against French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko.
This is the first year women will compete in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
Williams, 36, has not competed since winning the Australian Open in January while she was pregnant. She gave birth to a girl on Sept. 1.
